We provide Sports Medicine coverage for the University of Kentucky, Kentucky State University, Eastern Kentucky University, Georgetown University, and many area high schools. Throughout the year you will have the opportunity to be the primary team physician covering the sidelines during numerous different events at different levels of competition. Often you will be the “team doc” for that event.
Research focus includes allograft use in knee surgery, graft fixation, shoulder mechanics and proprioception. Sports Medicine has three accredited fellowships at the PGY- 6 level.
The publications of past UK Sports Medicine Fellows -- Fellow productivity as of May '13.pdf -- demonstrates the breadth of their research and the depth of their productivity.
